August brings school holidays and hopefully long sunny days. One way of keeping the children entertained is to get involved with the Childrens Festival at St Gennys Church. It runs from 20th to 22nd of August ending with songs of thanksgiving at 3.30 on the 22nd contact Rev Heather Aston for more details. Swim safe is on again in Bude from 2nd to 12th August for children aged 7 - 14 years, book your place on swimsafe.org.uk.
