Planning Application PA22/067224The Cow Shed, Access to Higher Poulza, Jacobstow - Convert redundant barn to a dwelling house following the extant Class Q permitted development re Planning Application No PA21/04822 - Councillors would like clarification on regulations on Class Q in relation to planning.

Planning Application PA22/05958Cottage farm, from Edgar Road to Eden Road, Jacobstow – Conversion of farm barn to residential dwelling. – Clerk to reply saying Councillors would like clarification in relation to this application in regard to Class Q granted in 2018 on this site. If it is a viable application we would request a land agents report and agricultural conditions.

Planning Application PA22/06693Works on Macrocarpa Tree - The Rectory, Jacobstow - Councillors support this.

Mayor of CornwallCorrespondence received regarding who decides on the change of a Mayor. It should be the people’s decision. Councillors decided not to reply.

Cornwall CouncilCorrespondence received stating that there is support for residents struggling with the cost of living. Details of schemes available to be put in the next Jacobstow Journal.

Councillor matters- It was reported that a drain is blocked at the bottom of Certificate Hill by Ash Farm. Contact Oliver Jones again as it was said it would be cleared when the weather improved.
- Email received from the Scouts asking for a donation towards the work on their new Hut. Reply saying we are waiting to see if we get another donation from the Solar Farm.
- Auditor - It was decided to ask Mrs. Wendy Hodgson if she would be our Internal Auditor.
