Attendance
Cllr. Osborne chaired the monthly meeting of the Parish Council. Those present were Cllrs. C Smith, D Adey, P Chapman, C Pallett, A Vogel, County Cllr. Nicky Chopak and two members of the public.

Minutes
The Minutes of the last meeting were read and agreed to be correct

Balance at Bank
The Balance at the bank was £11,109.04 in the Current Account and £5,450.12 in the Primrose Account.

Planning – Light Industrial Units at Wainhouse Corner
Mr Dan Ward explained that he had had pre-Planning Advice from Cornwall Council and that we will now be receiving Outline Planning. Councillors will discuss again when this is received.

Neetside Community Centre
Correspondence received from the Neetside Community Centre which is operated by Bude & Stratton Community Project and CIO overseen by 10 Trustees. Their Annual report can be read on line.

Planning Conferences for local Councils
List of future Planning Conferences to be held the nearest being Liskeard. The cost will be £12 per delegate.
From 1st January 2019 a new charge known as the Community Infrastructure (CIL) will be applied to new planning permissions. The money raised will help deliver infrastructure to support new development. A “local share” of the CIL money will be given to the local Parish Council where the development happens. This is 15% raised in their area. They are asking for suggestions as to the remaining 70-80%. One suggestion was to keep all toilets open. -
Dogs Trust Services
Information received regarding their services one of which is that dogs would be cared for if you should die. Posters to be put in Notice Boards and in the Journal.

Footstile at Ash Farm
Email received from Mrs Anne Connolly complaining about the footstile at Ash Farm. It is high and has very narrow steps. Also it is totally inaccessible for large dogs. Many walkers have dogs so cannot do the the circular walk. Maybe the stile could be replaced by a gate.

Neighbourhood Planning
A Neighbourhood Planning Session has been arranged for 25th Sept, 2018 at the Conference Hall, Parkhouse Centre. Cllr. Pallett will attend.

Devon & Cornwall Police
Information received regarding the proposed merger with Dorset Police. This had been Emailed to Councillors.

Self-Catering Waste Letter
Correspondence received from Cornwall Council regarding Self-Catering Waste. They are writing to all the self-catering holiday let properties reminding them of their obligation to manage their waste.

Bude CNA Highways Fund
It was noted thata meeting will be held at the Bude Tourist Information Centre on the 21st September 1 – 3pm. Cllr. Pallett will represent.

Councillor Matters
- A Bus Service Timetable had been put in the Notice Boards it was suggested this be put in the Journal as well.
- Clerk to make further enquiries regarding the Post Box in Jacobstow as this still hasn’t been returned.
- A discussion was had on the footpaths up-grade. Cllr. Pallett waiting for an estimate from Highmoor (kernow) Ltd.
