April 2025 Minutes (DRAFT)

Minutes of Ordinary Meeting held on 1st April, 2025

1. Cllr. Charmaine Smith chaired the monthly meeting with Cllrs. P Chapman, S Smith, J Shepherd, A Vogel & Mrs.D.Turner (Clerk) attending.

2. Apologies

   Apologies received from Cllr. N Osborne and County Cllr. Nicky Chopak.

3. Declarations

   There were no declarations.

4. Minutes

   The minutes had been Emailed to all Councillors and were agreed and signed.

5. Balance at Bank

   It was reported that the balance at the Bank was £16,987.16 in the Current A/C and £5,014.26 in the Solar A/C.

6. Accounts to pay:-

   • DCW Polymers £996.00 (Seats for Goldfinch Close Proposed we pay Cllr. S. Smith Seconded Cllr. P Chapman
   • CALC £338.06 (Annual Subscription) Proposed we pay Cllr. A Vogel Seconded Cllr. P Chapman

7. Email re: Planning Application No PA25/02085

   Email received from a Parishioner regarding this Planning Application. Reply saying as this is a Class Q it doesn’t get sent to the Parish Council for consultation. Tell them to go online to the Planning Portal to put their comments.
   Cornwall Council have approved this Application.

8. Road Closure

   Correspondence received reporting that the road from Eden Road to Trevean will be closed from 21st April – 25th April, 2025 (24hrs)

9. Councillor matters

   1. Complaints received from residents at Broad Langdon that rubbish left out for dustmen to collect is being attacked by foxes.
   2. Send reminder to Royal Mail regarding the missing Post Box at Hele Barton.
   3. Arrange for the new seats for Goldfinch Close to be delivered to Hele Barton.

There being no further business the Meeting was closed at 8.10pm.
