Minutes of Ordinary Meeting held on 7th July, 2026

1. Attendance

   Cllr.Charmaine Smith chaired the monthly meeting with Cllrs. P Chapman, S Smith, A Vogel. J Hodgson, and Mrs.D.A.Turner (Clerk) attending

2. Apologies

   Apologies received from Cllrs. N Osborne, K Anderton and County Cllr. Nicky Chopak;

3. Declaration of Interest/Dispensations

   No declarations in respect of this Agenda.

4. Minutes

   The minutes had been Emailed to all Councillors and were agreed and signed.

5. Balance at Bank

   It was reported that the balance at the bank is £17.767.58 in the Current a/c and £5,885.41 in the Solar a/c

6. Poundstock Neighbourhood Development Plan

   This was discussed

7. Accounts to pay

   Jag Signs £608.93 (Repairs to Bus Shelter) (St Gennys PC have agreed to pay half of the cost) Proposed to pay Cllr.P Chapman Seconded Cllr. A Vogel

8. Register of Interest

   New Register of Interest forms are to be completed as the Councillors address isn't to be shown on the public register. Clerk to send Councillors the Email with the link to complete a new form online.

9. Planning Application PA26/03083

   Works to trees covered by a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) – Ash to be dismantled to ground level – Old School House, School Lane, Jacobstow.

10. Bude Website

    Checking with Councillors as to what type of mobile phone they use.

11. Online Banking

    Online banking discussed. Clerk to find out more details

12. Planning – PA26/02888 – Cottage Farm, Jacobstow

    Conversion of Barn to 3 Single Storey apartments - Cornwall Council approved this.

13. Planning Application No PA26/01153

    Installation of ground mounted solar PV array - Beckaveans, Jacobstow - Cornwall Council approved this.
