March 2025 Minutes (DRAFT)

Minutes of Ordinary meeting held on 4th March, 2025

1. Cllr. Charmaine Smith chaired the monthly meeting which began with the Annual Parish meeting. Those present were Cllrs. P Chapman, A Vogel, J Shepherd, N.Osborne, S.Smith, County Cllr. Nicky Chopak, Mrs Michell Jones PC Craig Lang & The Clerk Mrs. D.A. Turner.

2. Declaration of Interest/Dispensations

   No declarations

3. Minutes

   The minutes of the previous meeting had been sent to Councillors and were agreed and signed.

4. Balance at Bank

   It was reported that the balance at the bank at present is £17,700.89 in the Current A/c and £3340.53 in the Solar A/c

5. Safety of Lithium-ion Batteries

   Correspondence received regarding Lithium-ion batteries.

6. Goldfinch Close

   It was decided to order two benches for Goldfinch Close. Cllrs P Chapman and A Vogel will be responsible for installing the base for these.

7. Accounts to pay:-

   • Clerks Salary £550.00 Expenses £58.50 (Total £608.50)
     Proposed Cllr. Chapman Seconded Cllr. S. Smith
   • Viking (Ink Cartridges) £104.63
     Proposed Cllr. Vogel Seconded Cllr. Chapman

8. Councillor matters

   Send a further reminder for the missing Post Box at Hele Barton.
